Today was our very last full day in Uganda! The trip seemed to go by so fast, but today was the perfect finale.

Read MoreToday, we left the Lacor Guest House and began the three-and-a-half-hour bus ride to Murchison Falls. It was sad to say goodbye to everyone we met, and many people gathered at the Lacor Guesthouse to see us off.

Read MoreWe watched the show the students put on for us. It included a traditional dance called otole, among other performances. Once school was let out, we went to St. Jude Children’s Home to play with the kids. We also gave out the backpacks that we had packed before the trip.

Read MoreWe started the day by visiting Comboni Samaritans. Comboni Samaritans was originally a religious group of people who sold art to help HIV-positive women. It has since grown and is now run by the Comboni sisters. They have also set up a medical center and an education center.
