Max’s first trip to Uganda in 2011 inspired him in his service to the children of Consolation Home at St. Jude Children’s Home in particular. This focus for his work with Social Promise fits naturally with other service work Max has been engaged in over the years, including volunteer work with Best Buddies International and Timmy Global Health, the latter of which included serving in the Amazon Basin of Ecuador. Max has a professional interest in health and nutrition sciences, which fits well with the needs of the partners and populations served by Social Promise in Uganda. Max received his undergraduate degree in Biology from DePauw University. He completed a master’s degree in Nutrition Science at Colorado State University and is currently in medical school at Midwestern University in Arizona.
