Sharon McGee Crary, Ph.D.

Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry at DePauw University | Co-Founder and Executive Director of Social Promise

Sharon brings a strong background in global health issues to Social Promise. She is currently Professor of Biochemistry and co-Director of the Global Health Program at DePauw University in Indiana. Sharon received her undergraduate degree from Williams College, her Ph.D. from Duke University, and her post-doctoral fellowship training in the Viral Special Pathogens Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. She first traveled to Gulu, Uganda in 2000 as part of the CDC team responding to an outbreak of Ebola virus. She was stationed at Lacor Hospital.
