Reuben Addison
Reuben Addison, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Kinesiology, DePauw University
Reuben was born in Tema, Ghana, and moved to the USA in 2017 to pursue his Ph.D. in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University. Before this, he graduated from the University of Ghana in Accra with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a master's in Kinesiology. At Memorial University, he served on the Academic Council as a graduate student representative, liaising between the school council and the student body on academic issues. At Louisiana State University, he was part of the libraries students advisory council, where he supported LSU Libraries by promoting student engagement in support services and the development of promotional materials. He later worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Institute of Health Professionals, where he also dedicated time to mentoring underrepresented undergraduate students pursuing health science careers.
