Dominique is the daughter of Lucille Teasdale and Piero Corti, the founders of Lacor Hospital in Gulu, Uganda. Dominique was born in Uganda to parents that dedicated their lives to humanitarian efforts and helping those in need.

Today, Dominique works tirelessly to keep her parents' legacy alive and to ensure healthcare access to one of the poorest areas in the world.
