YOUR IMPACT: MEET AKELLO NANCY

During my time in Uganda, I witnessed firsthand the incredible impact your contributions have made on the lives of the individuals you support.

Today, I want to share a story from one of a young woman who benefitted from your generosity.

Akello Nancy grew up at St. Jude Children's Home. Both of her parents passed away, leaving her with an uncertain future. However, thanks to your unwavering support, Nancy persevered despite these challenges.

Akello's school fees were paid with your contributions, sending her to secondary school and then enabling her to pursue her passion for accounting at Gulu University.

Fast forward to today, Akello Nancy is an accomplished young woman. She is currently an associate at Sama, a data company located in Gulu. Her dedication, hard work, and skills acquired during her studies have made her an essential part of her team for the past four years.

Nancy lives with her husband and one-year-old son. She already saves a portion of her salary for school fees when her son is old enough to attend.
